Therapeutic Bodywork
Bodywork is used for many different health benefits! As Natural Health Educators, we use it to assess for any abnormalities - such as inflammation, tension, tight muscles - and to provide therapeutic purposes. Bodywork (also known as massage) can be used to promote relaxation, improve circulation, improve lymphatic drainage, relieve muscle tension, and more! A bodywork session consists of an interview to assess needs/issue, followed by either a limited or full body massage, depending on session length. Add an essential oil to your session for an extra aromatherapy or topical therapeutic purpose! *Please be prepared to undress down to underwear - you will be draped at all times for privacy and modesty. *Intake phone call required prior to in person appointment* Your journey begins with a 30 minute intake phone call to fully assess your concerns, health history, lifestyle, and any supplements/medications you are taking. Next, you will have an initial consultation (1 hour) where I will use muscle response testing to determine where the imbalances may be as well as your overall state of wellbeing. Using the information from your intake and the assessment, an individualized health protocol will be created. Education and resources are provided at every step of the way. Follow-up appointments (30-60 mins) are recommended to help guide you on your journey, monitor progress, and to adjust the plan as needed.
